The Theory Test for LGV is now part of the licence requirements. This came into effect on 1st January 1997.

You are now required to take the Theory Test first, and the practical test can be taken anything up to 2 years after the date of passing the Theory paper.

You will be notified on the result of your test on the same day. If you do not pass first time there will be no limit of the number of times you can take the test. you must attain the Theory Paper pass before you can take your Practical Test.

The cost of the Theory Test is £50.00. There is a small administration charge of £5.00 if you would like us to book the test on your behalf. If you prefer you can book directly.
